Performance of a game is partly a question of the game itself and partly a question of your own perception of it. If it "feels" like it is running well to you, then by definition you don't have a performance "problem".
Having said that, it is often useful to be able to measure the actual number of frames per second (fps) that the game is achieving. There are a number of third party tools that allow you to do this but the most commonly used is Fraps.
